Loosen up with an alpine hike to Ptarmigan Cirque, a glacier-carved natural amphitheater alive with wildflowers. Cross an avalanche slope keeping an eye out for caribou, moose, mountain goats and big horn sheep. Bike serene forested paths around turquoise lakes along the Evans Thomas path. Raft the playful 'racecourse rapids" of the Kananaskis River.

Hike a full day in Sentinel Pass, learning how the surrounding spire-topped mountains were formed and marveling at the postcard perfect views of Paradise Valley below. Trek (crampons, walking sticks and all) across Athabasca Glacier with a local expert.
