Reaching Burstall Pass, you gain impressive views of Mount Assiniboine (Canada's Matterhorn), Mount Sir Douglas, and Mount Birdwood. At Boundary Ranch, follow an authentic Western barbecue lunch with either a guided horseback ride on scenic trails or fly-fishing on the legendary Kananaskis River. As you hike along remote trails through ancient forest in both Banff and Yoho national parks, you're treated to views of ultramarine lakes and, with luck, hoary marmots, mountain goats, deer, elk, moose, and golden eagles.
