After meeting your guides in Sequoia National Park, you'll hike alongside giant Sequoia trees. The following day you'll begin your 50 mile backpacking trip in Kings Canyon National Park. Highlights of this trek are panoramic views, deep canyons, pristine alpine lakes, and a steep mountain pass. This backpacking trek includes an extra day to explore more of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. After completing this unforgettable experience, you'll follow your guides back to the starting point.

We rate this hike as "strenuous" meaning our packs will be heavier, we'll be hiking over varied and sometimes steep terrain, and we'll be arriving at our campsites later in the afternoon. Due to the many side trips available, mileage on this trek varies. We'll hike though canyons, meadows, forests, and along ridgetops. This hike is perfect for guests looking for a longer, more diverse trek.
