You'll begin this hike in Tuolumne Meadows. From there you'll hike through through forests and along ridgetops. After passing a few lakes, you'll eventually arrive to the world famous Half Dome. You have an extra day to climb to the top where you'll be greeted with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and the valley below.

We rate this hike as "strenuous" meaning our packs will be heavier, we'll be hiking over steep terrain and arriving at our campsites later in the afternoon. Due to the many side trips available, mileage on this trek varies. This hike is perfect for guests looking for a longer, more diverse trek outside of the valley.
