The high country lakes, peaks, and passes of Yosemite are truly spectacular and on this 50 mile loop, we'll hike deep into the heart of this alpine environment. We'll travel mostly on trail and will have the opportunity to summit several peaks.

Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks provide a stunning landscape of giant sequoia trees, tumbling waterfalls, alpine lakes, and soaring granite peaks. You'll be in constant awe hiking amid this natural grandeur.

The Sierra High Route is packed with expedition-style adventure! The trek is 195 miles and the terrain is mostly off trail. This means that there will be a lot of route finding and long physical days, but also a lot of reward.

Merced River rafting features first-class early season whitewater just outside Yosemite National Park through a picturesque canyon adorned with pine forests, colorful wildflowers, rocky ledges and sandy beaches.

Astounding natural beauty surrounds us as we hike along cascading waterfalls in Yosemite National Park, mountain bike in the Sierra backcountry, learn to rock climb, whitewater raft down the tumbling Merced River or go horseback riding.
