The Sierra High Route is packed with expedition-style adventure! The trek is 195 miles and the terrain is mostly off trail. This means that there will be a lot of route finding and long physical days, but also a lot of reward.

The high country lakes, peaks, and passes of Yosemite are truly spectacular and on this 50 mile loop, we'll hike deep into the heart of this alpine environment. We'll travel mostly on trail and will have the opportunity to summit several peaks.

This 3 day course is informative and fun. You will learn about choosing gear, trip planning, navigation, backcountry cooking and zero impact techniques.
