This course is designed for individuals seeking to learn expedition skills. It combines instruction with a series of climbs that practice and build upon your skill base.

These courses are designed to give participants a hands-on introduction to ice climbing. Building solid climbing skills and confident climbers is the main focus. The courses are conducted in the heavily glaciated mountains surrounding Haines.

Haines sits at the top of the Famous Inside Passage, on the longest fjord in the world. This area offers excellent kayaking for beginners and experts alike. The beaches are wild and pristine, with more chance of seeing wildlife than people.

Raft and hike through Alaska's most rugged and pristine wilderness, view wildflower carpeted fields alive with grizzlies, moose, bighorn sheep and bald eagles. You'll also walk on a glacier and raft among icebergs.

Pedal four of the most dramatic highways in North America - the magnificent Haines Highway, the Kluane lake section of the Al-Can Highway, plus the most beautiful stretches of Alaska's Glenn and Richardson Highways
