Gorgeous flat coastal biking terrain awaits as you explore the shores of Chesapeake Bay.

Bike on pleasant tree-lined roads and wind your way by the many rivers, bays and estuaries that define this region.

The biking is wonderful. We follow one of the country's premier biking routes, taking quiet roads to the Tred Avon River, and crossing to historic Oxford via the small Oxford-Bellevue Ferry. On other days we pass through the historic village of Unionville, picnic at the "Little Red School House", and take an optional loop to the village of Wye Mills. We take a stunning ride through the Blackwater National Wildlife Preserve, a haven for bald eagles, osprey and thousands of ducks and geese. Our final day's ride takes us past the Third Haven Meeting House (the oldest religious building in America) and then loops out to the shores of the Choptank River.
