Volunteer Vacations in South America

Assist essential community development projects on this six month Trainee scheme while learning Spanish. Paid or unpaid work positions available for qualifying candidates.

The first three months of your Traineeship are spent learning Spanish and volunteering on GVI's community development projects in Peru and Ecuador. This is a fun and very effective way to Learn Spanish by complete immersion and of course a way to give something back as well. During this phase you will also undertake 200 hours of one-on-one Spanish classes, teach in the communities and shadow GVI field staff to assist with the running of the project. At the end of the first three months, you will either continue working in Peru or can opt to move to Ecuador. GVI have worked closely with many higher education facilities to link this Trainee program with academic qualifications and or a Year in Industry as part of a higher education qualification.
