This unique touring journey through East Africa includes the renowned game parks of Rwanda and Tanzania for optimal wildlife viewing. Our journey follows a relaxed itinerary with vehicle based excursions that return each night to comfortable camps and lodges. The undoubted highlight of the journey is our time in the Virunga Mountains and our trek following the footsteps of Dian Fossey along remote trails in the mist shrouded forests of the 'Volcanoes National Park' in search of the famous Mountain Gorillas. This is a truly unforgettable experience, followed by a trek in search of the famous Golden Monkeys. From Nairobi we take the opportunity to explore Arusha National Park, before spending a few nights passing through Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Park, famed for tree climbing lions. We spend a day visiting the Ngorongoro Crater and conclude our trip at the world famous Serengeti National Park to view the vast herds of grazing animals and the magnificent predators that follow their migration.
