This spectacular women's backpacking itinerary includes the Yosemite High Country and the legendary Valley. We'll leave from picturesque Tenaya Lake then wind our way down to Yosemite Valley by way of Clouds Rest and Half Dome.

The high country lakes, peaks, and passes of Yosemite are truly spectacular and on this 50 mile loop, we'll hike deep into the heart of this alpine environment. We'll travel mostly on trail and will have the opportunity to summit several peaks.

This backpack trip is a real stunner with highlights including a Half Dome ascent, a section of the John Muir Trail, a tour of Yosemite Valley and a nearly 60-mile hiking traverse through the heart of Yosemite.

This tour will take you along the edge of the highly controversial Hetch Hetchy Reservoir and into the surrounding area. Once described by John Muir as "an exact counterpart to the great Yosemite", this corner of the park is full of stunning beauty.
